• What is Digital Select Calling (DSC) and Rescue 21
• Marlin Spike (knots)
• How to properly use flares
• How to properly use fire extinguishers
• Proper use, care and types of Personal Flotation Devices (PFD)
• Proper wear of the various uniforms
• Hold an instructor workshop
• How to work a Public Affairs (PA) booth

These classes and more are available immediately following the Charles County Detachment Meeting every first Monday of the summer months.

These training sessions are FREE and open to the public. 

Participation is key when it comes to having a good training session, so please remember to attend and bring friends.
